Treatment Options For Nerve Pain, Numbness, and Tingling

Your nerve therapy treatment begins with our team of experts and providers identifying and treating any underlying medical condition—such as neuropathy, diabetes or infection—that could be contributing to your nerve pain. Our team of nerve specialists then work with you to design a nerve therapy plan that resolves the severe pain, throbbing, numbness, burning and tingling sensations, cramping, coordination loss, and muscle weakness you may be experiencing depending upon your type of nerve damage. Our clinically-proven nerve therapy program gives you access to cutting-edge treatments that comprise the following:

Nerve Therapy

Our clinically-proven nerve therapy program gives you access to revolutionary infrared light therapy, nerve repair injection treatments, and vibration therapy. We complement these nerve treatments with supplements formulated to support a healthy nervous system; therapeutic devices designed to promote nerve function; a low-inflammatory diet plan that reduces nerve-exacerbating inflammation; and a purification program that gives you a structured plan for purifying and nourishing your body—so that you can heal from the inside out.

Injection Therapy

Our therapeutic nerve repair injection therapies are formulated to effectively reduce pain caused by nerve damage or dysfunction.

Infrared Light Therapy

By directing powerful energy in the form of billions of light photons to your nerves, our revolutionary infrared light therapy stimulates cell activity and increases blood flow—providing your nerves with oxygen and nutrients, reducing inflammation, and relieving pain.

Vibration Therapy

Our doctors utilize vibration therapy, which uses specific vibrational frequencies to increase your circulation, stimulate damaged nerve fibers, and reduce pain resulting from nerve damage.

Pain Management

Our pain management specialists are committed to identifying the root cause of your nerve pain—resolving your nerve pain at its source rather than simply masking your symptoms with traditional pain management medications and treatments. We recognize the complexities of pain, and partner with you to design a customized pain management plan to identify which of our nerve pain treatments best support your near- and long-term healing.

Acupuncture

Our acupuncturists administer very thin micro-needles at strategic points along the surface of your body to stimulate nerves, muscles, and connective tissues. Activating these specific points restores blood flow and stimulates your central nervous system pathways—triggering your natural healing abilities and relieving pain.

Chiropractic Treatments

Our chiropractors diagnose, treat, and prevent mechanical disorders within your musculoskeletal system that contribute to nerve pain, numberness, or tingling. Our extensive chiropractic services include specialized techniques that properly align your spine and resolve herniated discs that can cause nerve damage and pain.

Spinal Decompression

Our spinal decompression therapy gently stretches your spine using a traction table or similar motorized device. The stretch creates negative pressure in the spinal discs—the cushions between each of your vertebrae—which, in turn, takes pressure off of your nerves. Additionally, the mild pulling and releasing motions of decompression therapy promote the diffusion of oxygen, water, and nutrient-rich fluids, which enables healing of damaged nerves.

Physical Therapy

Through specialized physical therapies that stimulate natural pain-relieving chemicals and address the inflammation, soreness, and stiffness associated with your nerve pain, numbness, or tingling, our physical therapists work to relieve your nerve pain and support healing.

Acoustic Wave Therapy

Acoustic wave therapy’s use of low-intensity sound waves targets your neuropathy at its source by helping blood vessels open up—enabling improved blood flow to your nerves.

Understanding Nerve Pain & Neuropathy

If you are experiencing nerve pain, you’re not alone. According to the Cleveland Clinic, approximately 25% – 30% of Americans will be affected by neuropathy at some point in their lives.

When your nerves are damaged or dysfunctional, you may experience sensations such as severe pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, and burning. This nerve damage and dysfunction could be associated with neuropathy and is indicative of an issue within your peripheral nervous system. Your body’s nervous system has two main parts: your central nervous system and your peripheral nervous system. Your central nervous system is your body’s processing center and includes the brain and spinal cord. Your peripheral nervous system is the network of nerves outside of your brain and spinal cord, and includes sensory, motor, and automatic nerves. These nerves send signals between the brain and spinal cord and the rest of your body—including muscles, skin, arms, hands, legs, and feet. When your nerves are damaged or destroyed, they can’t effectively relay messages, and this malfunction can trigger painful numbness and tingling. Neuropathy often begins in your hands or feet, but can affect many different parts of your body.
