Meet the Utah Valley Team

Brandon R. Carter DC earned his undergraduate degree in 2003 at the University of California, Davis. He studied Biological Psychology for five years, focusing on psychological research and behavior. He was involved in studies performed at the MIND institute at UC Davis. He graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California in 2007 as class Salutatorian. He was the Chiropractic Biophysics Club Vice-President, and has focused on Clinical Postural Biomechanics in Chiropractic Care. He served as an Associate to Chiropractic Biophysics Fellow for 3 years in which he was trained extensively with Clinical Biophysics technique and remodeling spinal degeneration. He also worked with a Psychiatrist and Neurologist as the Clinic Director for a prestigious Medical Group in San Francisco, CA. He currently resides in Pleasant Grove, UT, is married to a beautiful wife and is a father of two amazing boys. He enjoys half-marathon racing, skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding the Utah mountains.

Keena Hooker is a Board- Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with a vast background in health and wellness and a passion for helping her patients live their healthiest, happiest, and best quality of life through every phase of life. 

Keena earned her first degree from Brigham Young University nearly 30 years ago and spent the next two decades owning a triathlon coaching business and fitness facility/gym, helping thousands of people improve their health and quality of life through goal setting, improved nutrition, weight loss, and quality movement.  Keena went on to earn an additional degree as a Nurse/BSN and spent several years working in a busy emergency room and then as a home health care nurse.  Keena obtained her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN/FNP-C) with the goal of being able to provide comprehensive health care for her patients by synergistically blending modern health care based on a solid foundation of a healthy lifestyle to create the best of both worlds for her patients and ensure each patient is inspired and empowered to live their best life every day.
